ANNA LEE RIGGS
1929 - 2010


Anna Lee Skaggs Riggs was born in Milfay, Oklahoma on August 14, 1929 and departed this life in Shawnee where she had lived the past three years on Sunday, August 1, 2010 at the age of 80 years.
She was the daughter of Oddus J. and Georgia Fisher Skaggs and was a long time resident of Milfay, Oklahoma.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Milfay and worked in the Milfay School cafeteria from 1963 until she retired in 1992.
She married Clyde Henry Riggs in Bristow, on October 12, 1949. He preceded her in death March 17, 2005.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, one brother, James Roland Skaggs and one sister, Juna Mae Marker.
Survivors include one son, Henry Riggs of Shawnee, one daughter and son in law, Darla and Ed Rider of Shawnee, three grandchildren, Mandy McKay and Jay Johnson of Tecumseh, Myria and Gerald Hayslip of Oklahoma City and Sunita and Mike Embrey of Oklahoma City, two great grandchildren, Jax Keegan Johnson of Tecumseh and Jillian Michelle Embrey of Oklahoma City and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 5, at the Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Forrest Whitmore officiating.
Burial will be in the Stroud Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
