RON WAYNE RENO
1976 - 2016


Ron Wayne Reno was born on August 17, 1976, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Thursday, May 12, 2016, in Seminole, Oklahoma, at the age of 39.
Reno, the son of Rick and Rhonda Moses Reno, was a resident of Prague.
He graduated from Prague High School with the class of 1995.
Ron married his high school sweetheart, Kelly Pickard, on September 19, 1998 in Prague.
Reno was the Prague softball coordinator for the North Canadian Softball Association and president of the Prague Youth Softball Association.
He worked in the oilfield for a total of 21 years. He started out at Morgan Well Service, then went on the Best Well Service and finished out his career with 10 years at New Dominion where he was a well-site supervisor.
In his spare time, when he had any, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, coaching his daughters’ softball teams and little league football. He really liked his DIY projects and tinkering in his shop.
Reno's maternal grandparents, Rayburn and Betty Moses preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife of 17 years, Kelly Reno, of the home; his daughters, Mallori Reno and Maylee Reno, each of the home; his parents, Rick and Rhonda Reno of Prague; his in-laws, Jeff and Cynthia Castleman of Prague and Jimmy and Jenny Pickard of Shawnee; Lavon and Louise Coomer of Prague; Everett and Freda Pickard of Shawnee; brother and sister-in-law, Teddy Reno and Annah of Prague; sister and brother-in-law, Rusty and Wes Seaton of Tecumseh; grandparents, Darrell and Ruth Reno of Stroud and Joyce and Gene Ellison of Prague; nieces and nephews Nylah, Landyn and Adalyn and many other family and friends.
The Reno family will receive friends on Monday, May 16, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Prague.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Prague with Bro. Tim Emmons and Bro. Scott Hamilton officiating.
Interment will follow at Prague Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
