ROY REED
1945 - 2005


Roy Reed, a resident of Stroud, Oklahoma, was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on March 22, 1945, and departed this life in Stroud, on Tuesday, May 24, 2005, at the age of 60 years.
Roy, the son of Estill and Thelma Brace Reed, was resident of Stroud most of his life.
He graduated from Stroud High School and was a heavy equipment operator.
He was affiliated with the First Baptist Church in Davenport.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.
Survivors include one son, Roy Ernest Reed of Stroud, Oklahoma, former wife, Retha Jane Reed of Stroud, Oklahoma, one sister, Bessie Pruett of Stroud, Oklahoma, one niece, five nephews, fifteen great-nephews and seven great-nieces as well as other relatives and many friends.
Burial was in Stroud Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home of Stroud, Oklahoma.
