HAROLD D. RAFFETY
1934 - 2013


Harold D. Raffety was born in Cushing, Oklahoma on March 7, 1934 and departed this life in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on Sunday, January 27, 2013 at the age of 78 years.
Harold was the son of Floyd M. and Muriel M. Hough Raffety.
He was a resident of Stroud, Oklahoma most of his life.
He was in the United States Air Force where he served in the Korean Conflict.
Harold was a member of the Stroud Christian Church in Stroud and owned and operated the Stroud Laundry Mat in Stroud, Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include one son and daughter in law, Bobby and Cara Raffety of Norman, Oklahoma, two daughters, Janice Griebel of Bethany, Oklahoma, Nancy Smart and husband Jewel of Stroud, Oklahoma, seven grandchildren, Jeremy Smart, Stephanie Wyre, Christopher Smart, Jonathan Griebel, Alicia Mitchell, Micah Raffety and Cathryn Raffety, seven great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held at the Stroud Christian Church in Stroud, Oklahoma on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Will Fine offciating.
Burial will follow in the Stroud Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, Oklahoma.
