JIMMIE FREDERICK POSPISIL
1939 - 2014


Frederick Pospisil was born on March 6, 1939 , in Prague, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Wednesday, December 31, 2014, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 75.
Jimmie, the son of Jimmie and Clara Vobornik Pospisil, was a resident of Yukon, Oklahoma.
He was a graduate of the Prague High School class of 1957 and attended Murray State College where he was a member of the ROTC.
Jimmie married Brenda Lou Brown on January 26, 1964 in Woodward, Oklahoma.
He worked at Dresser-Atlas in Woodward as a Petroleum Engineer from 1962 until 1991 and for BH Weed Control from 1991 until 2001 in Woodward and Yukon until his death.
Jimmie was a member of the First Baptist Church in Woodward.
His parents preceded Jimmie in death.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Pospisil of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Jimmie and Amy Pospisil of McKinney, Texas; daughters, Kimberly Hale of London, England; Kristi Dawn Pospisil Abernathy of Mustang; sisters, Betty Jo Webb of Shawnee; Rose Marie Watkins of Odessa, Texas; grandchildren, Kelsey and Drayton Abernathy, Makayla, Izrael, Esme, and Noah Pospisil.
The Pospisil family will receive friends on Sunday evening, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague, Oklahoma.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 5, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at Garden Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Garden Grove with Pastor Phil Morgan and Pastor P.D. Highsmith officiating.
Interment will follow at the Czech Cemetery in Prague.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
