CHRISTINA BERTHA POSPISIL
1908 - 2007


Christina Bertha Brezny Pospisil was born on July 24, 1908, in Collinsville, Oklahoma and departed this life on Saturday, October 27, 2007, in Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 99 years.
Christina was the daughter of Ernest and Bessie Anna Ruznicka Brezny.
She was married to Joe Pospisil in Prague on April 15, 1931.
He preceded her in death on April 9, 1975.
She was also preceded in death by her two daughters, Cecilia Hull and Adelene Brooks.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Prague.
She is survived by one grandson and his wife, Tim and Lisa Brooks of Manhattan, Kansas; and their two children, Connor Brooks and Colbi Brooks, also of Manhattan, Kansas; one sister in law, Mrs.Jim Clara Pospisil of Prague; as well as other relatives and many friends.
A Wake Service will be held on Monday at 7:30 p.m. at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church with Fr. Shane Tharp and Rev. Adrian Vorderlandwehr, OSB, officiating.
Interment will follow at the Catholic Cemetery in Prague.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
