PAULINE EVELYN PIPER
1921 - 2013


Pauline Evelyn Day Piper, long-time Wellston, Oklahoma, resident was born on November 29, 1921, in Junction City, Kansas, and departed this life on February 12, 2013, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, after a long battle with lung cancer, at the age of 91 years.
Pauline was the third daughter born to Charles Franklin and Hazel Fern Nickell Day.
She married Bernard Hobart Piper on January 3, 1942 in Herrington, Kansas.
Pauline was a homemaker and a member of Wellston First Christian Church.
Her parents, husband, seven brothers and two sisters preceded Pauline in death.
Survivors include two sons, Frankie Valens of Syracuse, Kansas and Douglas Piper of Wellston, Oklahoma, one daughter, Debra Garner of Wellston, Oklahoma, eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 18, 2013, at Wellston First Christian Church, Wellston, Oklahoma, with Minister Brent Avery officiating.
Burial will follow at Rossville Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
