JIMMY DAIL PICKETT JR.
1985 - 2010


Jimmy Dail Pickett Jr. was born in Ada, Oklahoma on August 10, 1985 and departed this life in Shawnee, Oklahoma on Sunday, November 28, 2010 at the age of 25 years.
Jimmy was the son of Jimmy D. and Lisa Jewell Halsey Pickett.
He was a resident of Stroud, Oklahoma.
He married Jennifer Rivas on December 30, 2005 in Stroud.
He served in the United States Marine Corps and is a member of the Oklahoma National Guard.
Jimmy also worked as a security officer at the L.E. Rader Center in Sand Springs, Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kaitlyn Pickett in 2009.
Survivors include wife, Jennifer Pickett of the home, daughter, Emilia Pickett of Stroud, father and mother, Jimmy and Lisa Pickett of Stroud, brother, Rick Threlkeld of Stroud, sister, Chandra Pickett of Stroud, mother and father-in-law, Manuel and Connie Rivas of Stroud and Randy and Angie Waling of Sapulpa, brothers and sister-in-law, Manuel "Woo" Rivas of Stroud, Charlie "Chuck" and Cindy Rivas of Mannford, Richard Ford of Depew and Scott and Stacey Reynolds of Meeker, sister and brother-in-law, Ashlie and Kevin Sheilds of Beaufort, South Carolina, as well as numerous friends.
Funeral services were held at the New Covenant Church in Stroud, Oklahoma on December 1, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Jerry Murfin officiating.
Burial followed at Stroud Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
