WANDA ROSE NICKELL
1932 - 2004


Wanda Rose Bullock Nickell, Davenport, Oklahoma, resident, was born on June 24, 1932, in Sparks, Oklahoma, and departed this life on December 18, 2004, in Stroud, Oklahoma, at the age of 72 years.
Wanda was the daughter of George Jackson and Anna Elizabeth Barksdale Bullock.
She married Billy Nickell on January 29, 1955, in Davenport, Oklahoma.
She was a homemaker and a member of the First Christian Church of Davenport, Oklahoma.
Her parents, one daughter, three brothers and two sisters preceded Wanda in death.
Survivors include her husband, Billy Nickell of the home; one son, David Nickell of Davenport, Oklahoma, three daughters, Sherrill Bierman of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Amy Melson of Chandler, Oklahoma and Lorrie Walker of Davenport, Oklahoma; one sister, Mary Faye Tucker of Davenport, Oklahoma and eight grandchildren as well as other relatives and many friends.
Service will be 2:00 p.m. today at First Christian Church in Davenport with the Rev. Bill Breland officiating.
Burial will follow at the New Zion Cemetery in Chandler.
Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler is directing arrangements.
