OSCAR CLARENCE NETTLES
1913 - 2007


Oscar Clarence Nettles long-time Carney, Oklahoma, resident was born on May 30, 1913, in Donovan, Missouri, and departed this life onTuesday, February 13, 2007, in Stillwater, Oklahoma, at the age of 93.
Oscar was the son of John P. and Martha Bell Nettles.
He married Della Armstrong on July 28, 1934, in Carney.
Oscar was a farmer and a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Carney.
His parents, wife, four brothers, two sisters and daughter-in-law, Sue Nettles preceded Oscar in death.
Survivors include his son, Oscar Lee Nettles of Carney, Oklahoma, brothers, Phillip Nettles of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Clyde Nettles of Greenlee, Texas and Buford Nettles of Mesquite, Texas, sisters, Gracie Hagar of Oklahoma City and Martha Marie Mayberry of Pawhuska, Oklahoma, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
Burial was in Carney Cemetery, Carney Oklahoma under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service of Chandler, Oklahoma.
