SHIRLEY JOAN MURRAY
1936 - 2015


Shirley Joan Hockett Murray was born October 30, 1936 to Victor Debbs Hockett and Allie Estelle Underwood.
She passed away Monday, May 4, 2015 in Oklahoma City at the age of 78.
Shirley enjoyed life to the fullest, never without careful consideration for her children.
She was a great cook and best friend to each of her children.
Shirley loved to play Bingo, grow flowers in her garden, quilt, and fish with her parents.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cheryl Ann Murray; parents, Victor and Allie; brothers, James Hockett and Dale Hockett; and sister, Linda Brannham.
Survivors include her children, Ronald L. Murray, Jr. of Chandler; Grace Manske of Rogers, Arkansas; Kathrine and her husband Michael Faulk of Chandler; Gerald D. Murray and his wife Theresa of Chandler; Louise and her husband Rickey McDaniel of Stroud; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; her beloved dog, Piper; and many other family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at the Lehman Funeral Home.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
