KIRBY GENE MORTON
1961 - 2013


Kirby Gene Morton was born August 3, 1961 in Chandler, Oklahoma to Gene Lavearl and Phyllis Ann {Evans} Morton.
He passed away March 3, 2013 in Stroud, Oklahoma at the age of 51.
Kirby grew up in Chandler and graduated from Chandler High School in 1980.
He has worked all his life in the oilfield doing many different jobs. Most recently he was a Rig Manager.
Kirby was preceded in death by his step-son, Garrett Kalka.
He is survived by his wife, Lou Ann Kalka of the home; parents, Gene and Phyllis; children, Brock Morton and his fiancé Aly Fullbright; Kimberly Morton amd Mariah Kalka; siblings, Gina and her husband Gary Hodson of Edmond; Karmon Morton and her fiancé Chad Cox of Chandler; four grandchildren, Trailee Morton, Kaden Morton, Carter Kalka and Maddox Fullbright; and eight nieces and nephews; as well as other relatives and friends.
Viewing and visitation will be Thursday from 8:00 a.m. till 8:00 p.m. and the family will be present from 6:00 till 8:00 p.m. to welcome friends.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 8, 2013 at the First Assembly of God in Chandler with interment following at the New Zion Cemetery of Chandler.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
