MARY SUE MORRIS
1946 - 2008


Mary Sue Cochran Demand Richardson Morris, 61, was welcomed into the arms of the Savior on Sunday, May 25, 2008 at 1:12 p.m.
She was born on June 29, 1946 and raised in Bethany, Oklahoma by her parents, Trillis "T.B." and Betty Stanley Cochran.
She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and was first and foremost a devoted mother & grandmother. She tried throughout her life to be a loving wife, daughter, sister and friend.
Mary loved helping everyone she saw, always putting others' needs above her own.
She was an accomplished artist with some of her work displayed for the community each holiday on store front windows.
She was preceded in death by her father, T. B. Cochran.
She is survived by her husband, Matthew Morris; her mother, Betty Cochran; one son, David {Christopher}; four daughters, Valerie, Bonnie, Katie and Julie; three sons-in-law, Cortis, Jeremy and Daryl; two sisters, Terry O'Neil & Teresa Bottoms; two brothers, Val and Abe Cochran; two sisters-in-law, Mary Catherine and Charlotte; one brother-in-law, Daryl; fourteen grandchildren: Jacqueline, Victoria, Britany, Bonnie Marixa, Jade, Alexa, Zachary Trillis, Megan, Whitney, Emily, Benjamin, Nicholas, Katherine and Nathaniel; as well as step-children, step-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Dr. David Vu and Mary's nurses Ray and Lisa; and all the staff at Good Shepherd Hospice for the wonderful and gentle way that they took care of her.
Viewing will be Thursday, May 29, 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service, 3925 N. Asbury, Bethany, Oklahoma.
Final viewing will be from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. on Friday, May 30 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, N.W. 63rd & Grove, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; followed by funeral services at 1:00 pm.
Burial will follow at Jamison Cemetery, McLoud, Oklahoma.
Mary's final request was to have those coming to her service to wear brightly colored clothing.
