EVERETT MOORE
1897 - 1972
Funeral services for Everett Moore, 74, Chandler were held Monday afternoon in the Curry Funeral Home Chapel, Chandler.
Moore died Friday, June 2 in the Veterans Administration Hospital, Oklahoma City. He was born August 23, 1897 in McCune, Kansas and came to Lincoln county as a young man.
He was married to Jeannie Meeks on December 25, 1919 at Arlington. She preceded him in death in 1966.
On March 4, 1969 he married Pearl Bishop at Chandler.
Moore was a veteran of World War I service.
Survivors include his wife of the home and two sons, Allen Moore, Oklahoma City and Otho of Chandler; one daughter, Mrs. Bernadine Burger of Gilbert, Arizona.
Also surviving are a step-son, Carl Bishop, Drumright; three step-daughters, Mrs. Lorena Kinkad, Norfolk, Virginia; Mrs. Wanda Lee and Mrs. Blanch Lee of Shawnee; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Burial was in the Kellerby Cemetery, north of Prague.
