BETTIE SUE MESSER
1924 - 2015


Bettie Sue Sosbee Messer was born in Gore, Oklahoma on May 28, 1924 and departed this life in Stroud, Oklahoma on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at the age of 91 years.
Bettie Sue was the daughter of John William and Lugie M. Fields Sosbee.
She was a resident of Stroud, Oklahoma most of her life and was a affiliated with The First United Methodist Church in Stroud.
She worked as a hair-dresser in the Stroud for many years.
Bettie Sue married Albert Messer Sr. in 1955. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by two sons, Alblert Messer Jr. and wife, Donna of Stroud, Oklahoma, John Messer of Stroud, Oklahoma, and a daughter, Cissy Paige of Stroud, Oklahoma, four grandchildren, Tiana Paige, Chris Messer, Jackie Menefee and Seth Messer, nine great grandchildren, Cody Paige, Colt Messer, Cheyanne Messer, Drew Messer, Isaac Burrows, Wyatt Menefee, Maci Messer, Bentleigh Foster and Ivy Messer, special family friend, Eddie Burgess, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at the First United Methodist Church of Stroud, Oklahoma at 10:00 a.m. with Ge'rard Nsabimana and Joe Molencupp officiating.
Burial will follow at the Stroud Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
