SHARON KAY McWHORTER
1942 - 2011


Sharon Kay Christian McWhorter was born July 3, 1942 in Wellston, Oklahoma to Marion Christian and Zella Quast Christian.
She graduated from Wellston High School in 1960.
Sharon loved to play basketball and spend time with her family and friends.
She spent most of her career as a payroll clerk for Lincoln County.
Sharon is preceded in death by her parents; sister Lois; and infant sister Susan.
She is survived by her sons, Ronnie Smith of Chandler; Tim McWhorter and wife Bethany of Tulsa; brothers Glen Christian of Harrah; Donnie Christian and wife Carlene of Choctaw; Jimmy Christian and wife Debra of Shawnee; grandchildren Kayce and Tyler McWhorter; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 9:00 a.m. Monday, March 14, 2011 in the Lehman Funeral Home Chapel, Wellston with interment following at the Wellston Cemetery under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
