NAOMI RUTH MATTHEYER
1932 - 2016


Naomi Ruth Deramo-Mattheyer was born October 26, 1932 in Tulsa to Alexander Deramo and Anna Eliza Ford. She passed away April 9, 2016 in Stroud at the age of 83.
She enjoyed fishing, cooking and country living. She loved her grandchildren with all of her heart.
Naomi was a devout Christian and long-time member of the Independent Baptist Church of Davenport where she often sang.
Naomi was preceded in death by her parents, Alexander and Anna; sister, Joyce Johnson, brothers, Lloyd Deramo, David Deramo, Sam Deramo and Bill Deramo; granddaughter, Anna Mattheyer; great-grandchildren, Peyton Clagg and Desiah Wyse.
Survivors include her children, Pam and her husband Jim Cannon of Chandler, John “Jaybird” Mattheyer and his wife Pam of Davenport, Nancy Prock of Davenport, Debbie and her husband Andy Beloncik of Davenport, Eddie Mattheyer and his wife Christie of Davenport, Malcolm Mattheyer and his wife Teena of Chandler, Wes Mattheyer and his wife Staci of Davenport; twenty grandchildren, Jesse, Amy, Matthew, Tara, Eli, Ethan, Isaiah, Jed, Zach, Amber, Amanda, Jeremy, Jennifer, Shelby, Linsey, Luke, Hillary, Tristan, Brooklin and Josh; twenty one great-grandchildren; siblings, John Deramo and Doug Deramo; along with many other family and friends.
A funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church of Davenport with interment following in the Oak Park Cemetery of Chandler.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
