GORDON MITCHELL MARTIN
1954 - 2015


Gordon Mitchell Martin was born on July 19, 1954, in Prague, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Sunday, April 19, 2015, in Prague Oklahoma, at the age of 60.
Gordon, the son of Mitchell and Beulah Burgan Martin, was a resident of Prague.
He graduated from Paden High School with the Class of 1973. He worked as an electrician and was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church.
Gordon’s parents and brother, Frank Martin, preceded him in death.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Chris and Stephanie Martin of Edmond and Brett and Patricia Martin of Shawnee; three grandchildren, Brecken, Jax and Zane Martin; daughter, Melinda Martin of Shawnee; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bobby and Regina Martin of Prague, Robert and Ronda Martin of Paden, David and Joy Martin of Grove and Tony and Melissa Martin of Prague; sisters and brothers-in-law, Laverne and Joe Podest of Prague, Linda Arthur of Prague, Irlene Reynolds of Prague and Doris and Gary Cordell of Prague; other numerous family and friends.
The Martin family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Prague.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at 10:00 a.m., at the First Baptist Church in Prague with Bro. Tim Emmons officiating.
Interment will follow at Prague Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
