BARBARA ANN MARTIN
1941 - 2014


Barbara Ann Howard Martin was born December 13, 1941 in El Reno, Oklahoma to Ivan and Francis Howard.
She passed away April 3, 2014 in Shawnee, Oklahoma at the age of 72.
Barbara graduated from NW Classen High School in Oklahoma City in 1959.
She had a love of horses as she did pedigrees for Quarter Horses, Thoroughbreds, and Appaloosas.
The highlight of her life was watching her daughter, Shala Smalley, barrel race.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Ivan and Francis; daughter, Shala Smalley and sister, Dorothy Jones.
Survivors include her husband of nearly 46 years, Don Martin of the home; sister, Donna Craig of Scottsburg, Indiana; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss her dearly.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, 2014 in the Lehman Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in the Carney Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
