LEAUN CLIFFORD MANNING
1925 - 2016


Leaun "Bud" Clifford Manning, 90, died Thursday, January 21, 2016.
He was born June 5, 1925 in Yale, Oklahoma.
Bud was a World War II veteran in the U.S. Army.
He was a retired union carpenter, local 329.
He enjoyed life on his farm while tending to his cattle and his dogs.
Bud was a member of the Southern Baptist Relief Organization, and a member of The Masonic Lodge in Chandler, Oklahoma.
He felt that helping people in any way he could made him a better man. Bud always said that the key to life was our Lord and Savior and knowledge, two things more valuable than anything on earth.
Bud is survived by his wife, Wanda; son, Steve; sister, Dorothy; granddaughter, Amy; grandson, Michael; and other relatives and numerous friends.
Preceded in death by a son, Clifford A. Manning and grandson Clifford A. Manning, Jr.
In place of flowers, a donation can be made to the American Heart Association.
Services will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 25, 2016 at Matthews Funeral Home, 601 S. Kelly Ave., Edmond, Oklahoma with interment will be 2:30 p.m., Monday at Rossville Cemetery, Rossville, Oklahoma.
