ILLA GAYLE LAIRD
1927 - 2010


Graveside services were held for Illa Gayle Stabenow Laird of Meeker on Monday, February 22, 2010, at Rossville Cemetery near Wellston.
Arrangements were under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
Illa was born January 22, 1927, in Keota, Iowa, and died Thursday, February 18, 2010, in Oklahoma City at the age of 83 years.
She was the daughter of John and Geneva Chapman Stabenow. She married Tilson C. Laird on March 11, 1946, in Baja, California.
She worked at Tinker Air Force Base, Midwest City, Oklahoma on the B52 bomber.
She was a member of the Mammoth Baptist Church, Meeker, Oklahoma.
Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, two daughters, two sisters and two brothers.
Survivors include two daughters, Faye Worthen and Vickie Pfeiffer, both of Meeker; two grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
