EVA LUCILLE KREMSNER
1920 - 2015


Eva Lucille “Luci” Kremsner, a Cushing resident, died October 22, 2015 at Red Bud Assisted Living in Perkins, Oklahoma.
She was born on February 28, 1920 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Golden Alva and Alice Gift.
She grew up in and around Knox, Indiana and after graduating from high school, she moved to Chicago, Illinois and married Edward John Kremsner on July 2, 1939. They had three children.
She attended Jubilee Worship Center and First Assembly of God in Cushing.
She was an excellent seamstress and loved clothes, hats and shoes, and this love of fashion led her to assemble and oversee some awesome vintage fashion shows.
She also was a world-class traveler, visiting many countries; including, Europe, Canada, Mexico, Alaska, the Arctic Circle, Hawaii and Hong Kong.
She had participated in several plays – both in California and at the Community Theatre in Cushing. She loved to learn, was an avid reader and played a mean game of Skipbo.
Her dog “Pepper” was her constant companion.
Luci is survived by her children, Pat Jones of Palos Hills, Illinois; Judy Taylor and husband, Ron of Cushing, Oklahoma; and Jerry Kremsner and wife, Linda of New Lenox, Illinois; eight grandchildren, Chris Plezbert and husband Tim; Corey Jones and wife Tina; Sarah Kremsner, LeAnne Fine, RoniSu Fields and husband Dan; Jason Taylor and wife Anita; Lyssa Taylor, Ryan Taylor and wife Lisa; sister-in-law Lillian Gift; great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Dick Gift and special friend, Bob Austin.
A memorial service celebrating her life will be in the Chapel of the Davis Funeral Home in Cushing on November 5, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. Her ashes will be buried in Flynn Cemetery following the service.
Memorial contributions in her name, can be made to the Red Bud Assisted Living in Perkins and Physician’s Choice Hospice in Chandler. Our special thanks goes to all those who loved and cared for our dear Mother.
