JOHNNY ROCKNEY KANADY
1948 - 2011


Johnny Rockney Kanady, age 62 of Holdenville, Oklahoma passed away on Monday, May 23, 2011 at the Integris Seminole Medical Center in Seminole.
He was born on September 13, 1948 in Cushing, Oklahoma to Nolan and Lois Brooks Kanady.
He grew up in the Agra and Cushing area most of his life and attended Agra High School.
Johnny is survived by his mother, Lois Kanady of Cushing; brothers, Don Kanady and wife Joyce of Corpus Christi, Texas; Steve Kanady and wife Linda of Cushing and David Kanady and wife Edith of Paden, Oklahoma; one sister, Lawanna Kelley and husband Corbett of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Nolan Kanady.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 26, 2011 at the Palmer Marler Funeral Home Chapel, Cushing, Oklahoma.
Burial will follow in the Parkland Cemetery, Parkland, Oklahoma. Brother Fred Britton will officiate.
Arrangements are entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, Oklahoma.
