SARA MAUREEN JORDAN
1958 - 2013


Sara Maureen Collier Jordan was born in Arlington, Virginia on April 18, 1958 and departed this life in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at the age of 55 years.
Sara was the daughter of Robert and Eleanor Russell Collier.
She was a resident of Pryor, Oklahoma.
Sara retired from the United States Air Force.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church and worked for the Veterans Center in Claremore, Oklahoma in Public Management.
She married Larry Wayne Jordan on April 14, 1990.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert and sister, Kathy Burke.
Survivors include her husband, Larry of the home, one son, Jonathan W. Newsome of Knoxville, Tennessee, one daughter, Rachael E. Jordan of Edmond, Oklahoma, mother, Eleanor Collier of Manhattan, Kansas, two sisters, Christine Trevino of Manhattan, Kansas and Susan McCullers of Edmond, Oklahoma, two grandchildren, Spencer and Hope, other relatives and friends.
Memorial service will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Stroud, Oklahoma on Friday, May 3, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Ashley Green-Young officiating.
Service are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service.
