LARRY ANDREW JORDAN
1938 - 2016


Larry Andrew Jordan was born in Stroud, Oklahoma on May 11, 1938 and departed this life in Stroud on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at the age of 77 years.
Larry was the son of Virgil and Augusta Craig-Teters Jordan.
He has lived in Stroud most of his life.
He retired from the United States Air Force as an Aerospace Control and Warning System Technician and his service in Vietnam Conflict, also from the City of Stroud as Utility Supervisor.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Stroud.
Larry married Maxine Coleman on December 20, 1956.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one son Jeffery, one granddaughter Nikki, one great granddaughter Aria, one daughter in law Sara and two brother in laws, Jimmy and Harold.
Survivors include his wife, Maxine of the home; one son, Larry W. Jordan of Pryor, Oklahoma; two daughters and son in laws, Pam and Kelly Hunt and Connie and Joey Prewitt all of Stroud; one brother and sister in law, Otho and Hope Jordan of San Antonio, Texas; one sister, Dolores Lane of Visalia, California; one sister in law, Patsy Coleman of Pawnee, Oklahoma; ten grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Stroud on Wednesday March 23, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Ge'rard Nsabimana officiating.
Burial will be in the Stroud Cemetery, under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
