CHARLENE JIMMIE JORDAN
1931 - 2016


Charlene Jimmie Ernst Miller Jordan, a Perkins resident, passed away on Monday, March 22, 2016 at Stillwater Medical Center in Stillwater, Oklahoma with her family by her side at the age of 84.
Charlene was born on July 26, 1931 in Inglewood, California to the late John Joe and Elnora Jimmie Marshall Ernst.
She grew up in Tulsa, Miami and Agra, graduating from Agra High School in 1949.
She married Richard Miller in October of 1949 and to this union Donna, Susan and Rayeann were born.
They lived in Blanchard and then worked and lived abroad for a number of years before moving back to Agra.
They were members of the First United Methodist Church in Agra.
Richard passed away on September 18, 1990.
Charlene married Calvin Jordan on February 14, 1998 in Perkins, Oklahoma. They are members of the First United Methodist Church in Perkins.
They were members of the Stillwater Ballroom Dance Club. She enjoyed dancing, gardening, traveling and going on cruises.
Charlene is survived by her husband, Calvin of the home, daughters, Donna Aldridge of Broken Arrow, Susan Molloy and husband Donnie of Agra, Rayeann Coad and husband Alan of Oklahoma City, brother Richard Ernst and wife Lila of Agra, grandchildren Richard Aldridge and Julie, Justin Aldridge and Stephanie, Colin Schulze and Rumi, Megan Kinnin and Donnie, great great grandchildren Camden, Klayton, Cayson, Rhett, Jonathan, Brooke, Elizabeth, Jase, Cody, Kiley and Khloe.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandson, Chase Molloy.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 26, 2016 at First United Methodist Church in Perkins, Oklahoma. Rev. Laura Glover, Rev. Susan Ross and Mr. Donnie Molloy will officiate.
Interment will follow at Tryon Cemetery, Tryon, Oklahoma.
Arrangements are entrusted to Palmer Marler funeral home in Cushing, Oklahoma.
