SARA LOU JONES
1933 - 2008


Sara Lou Stipe Jones, long-time Chandler, Oklahoma, resident was born on December 22, 1933, in Stillwater, Oklahoma, and departed this life on July 16, 2008, in Stroud, Oklahoma, at the age of 74 years.
She was the daughter of Oran and Irene Lambert Stipe.
She served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War.
Sara Lou married Martin E. Jones on June 5, 1971, in Chandler.
She worked many years as a social worker and was a member of First Christian Church in Chandler.
Her parents, husband and one daughter preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons; one daughter-in-law; one daughter; one sister; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, as well as other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 19, 2008, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel, Chandler, Oklahoma, with Rev. Fred Rider officiating.
Burial followed at Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler.
Services under the direction of the Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
