SINIA CALIFORNIA JONES
1900 - 1998


Chandler resident Sinia California Hurn Jones died Saturday in Shawnee. She was 97.
Mrs. Jones was born on August 4, 1900, in Arkansas to Samuel Peter and Sara Hurn.
She lived most of life in Chandler, where she was a housewife.
She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Chandler.
Survivors include two daughters, Christina Johnson of Chandler and Loretta Bridge of Wellston; thirteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harvey Jefferson Jones on January 16, 1956; a daughter, Thelma Ragsdale Cogdill and numerous brothers and sisters.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Oak Park Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Chandler, with the Rev. Doyle Seeley officiating.
