ALVIN LEE JONES
1929 - 2005


Alvin Lee “Al” Jones, long-time, Chandler, Oklahoma resident, born on January 21, 1929, in Merrick, Oklahoma, and departed this life on April 1, 2005 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 76 years.
He was the son of John W. and Pearl Crews Jones.
He married Ella Kirkpatrick on May 28, 1949, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
He worked as a mechanic for many years, and retired from Tinker Air Force Base.
His parents and one brother preceded Al in death.
Survivors include his wife, Ella of the home; one son, Gary Jones of Chandler, Oklahoma; three daughters, Alylene Field of Rapon, California; M. Darlene Albrecht of Wellston, Oklahoma and Debbie Acord of Chandler, Oklahoma; one brother, Paul Jones of Merrick, Oklahoma; three sisters, Agness Haver of Modesto, California; Martha Rodriguez of Ponca City, Oklahoma and Kathryn McIntire of Kingfisher, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren and other relatives and many friends.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Chandler First Baptist Church Mission Group, 912 W. 1st. Chandler, Oklahoma 74834.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 5, 2005 at the First Baptist Church in Chandler, Oklahoma, with Rev. Rick Blackwell officiating.
Services are under the direction of the Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
