DAVID C. JOHNSON
1911 - 2000


David C. Johnson died Monday in Shawnee. He was 89.
He was born September 29, 1911, in Sartis, Mississippi, the son of James W. and Tennessee Missouri Rickard Johnson.
David married Mary Josephine Campbell in 1933 at Sparks.
She preceded him in death in 1992.
He was a farmer and rancher.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, stepson, three brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Sandra Johnson of Shawnee; three daughters and sons-in-law, Joan and Carl Roundtree of Maud; Thelma and Glen Miller of Rossville; and Mabel and Herman Sherrill of Shawnee; ten grandchildre; eighteen great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Calvin Johnson of Oxford, Mississippi; and Marshall Johnson of California; sisters, Fredia Kirz of Oklahoma City; and Louise Koller of Kingfisher; and other relatives and many friends.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at White Dove Cemetery, Sparks, with the Rev. Richard Dickenson officiating.
Burial will be at White Dove Cemetery, Sparks, under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Chandler.
