ROBERT HARRY JAMES
1901 - 1978


Services were held December 11 at Stroud Curry Funeral Home Chapel for Robert Harry James.
Mr. James was born November 3, 1901 at Ozark, Missouri.
His parents were S. G. and Victoria Smith James.
He married Leta Johnson in 1927 at Stroud.
Mr. James moved from Sapulpa to Stroud in 1924.
He was a former employee of Hale Hays Motors and a member of the Assembly of God Church.
He died December 6 at Stroud General Hospital.
Interment was in Stroud Cemetery.
Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Thelma Vaughn and Mrs. Susie Brumley of Sapulpa and Mrs. Iva Uptegraft of Tulsa, several nieces and nephews, including Jack James of Oklahoma City.
His wife, Leta died in 1975.
