1956 - 2015


Jennie Katherine “Kathy” Webb Jacobs, 59, died on Sunday, November 8, 2015, in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
Kathy was born on May 5, 1956, to Everett and Jewel Hildreth Webb in Okemah, Oklahoma.
She attended elementary school in Welty, Oklahoma, and graduated from Stroud High School.
She also attended Oklahoma State University. Some degrees she earned were The Best Wife, Mother and Granny.
She married Lorenzo C. Jacobs Jr., on December 19, 1975, in Chandler, Oklahoma.
She was a member of the Starlight Ministries and Jesus First Baptist Church. Kathy was involved in Sunday School, Women’s Missions, and was a prayer warrior for many.
Kathy is preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Jewel Webb, brother, Everett Lee Webb Jr. and daughter, Faith Lee Jacobs.
She is survived by her husband, Rev. Lorenzo C. Jacobs Jr.; son, Israel Lorenzo C. Jacobs,III and his wife Alma-Manga Jacobs; daughter LaKinda Houston and her husband Marlon Sr.; daughter Melissa Williams and her husband Tevin Sr. and daughter Rachel Ellerby; sixteen grandchildren Tevin Jr., Darian, Alona, Tevin Marquice, and Janiyah Williams; Marlon, Keely, Madyson, Maximus and Mallory Houston; Kavera, Allan, Alvin and Ali Jacobs; Israel Lorenzo C.,IV and Raven Katherine Jacobs; three great grandchildren; two brothers Charles Webb and Gene Webb; four sisters Wanda Montgomery, Pat Booze, Effie Salsman and Babara Davis and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Pallbearers will be Marlon Houston Sr., Marlon Houston Jr., Tevin Williams Sr., Jacob Jacobs, Isaac Alexander, Adrian Williams, Michael Salsman and Dustin Phifer. Honorary Pallbearers are Derek Davis, Darian Williams, Bobby Carroll, Jr., Scotty Carroll and Aaron Carroll.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00p.m. on Friday, November 13, 2015, at Jesus First Baptist Church at 1024 S. 3rd Street in Stroud, Oklahoma, with Dr. Aldon Preston and Reverend Doran Jacobs officiating.
Interment will follow at Stroud Cemetery in Stroud, Oklahoma.
Strode Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
