MILDRED IGLEHEART
1923 - 2014

Mildred Burcham Igleheart, our beautiful and precious mother, departed this world into the arms of God on February 7, 2014, at the age of 90.
Mildred was born to William and Pearl Burcham on July 15, 1923, in Three Sands, Oklahoma, which was an oil field camp in North Central Oklahoma. Her family moved several times while she was growing up as her father was transferred in the oil industry from oil patch to oil patch. She graduated from high school in Zionsville, Indiana, and attended a local college in Indiana. During World War II, she worked at Douglas Aircraft Assembly Plant, which was part of what is now Tinker Air Force Base.
Mildred married Forest Igleheart on June 20, 1946, and they remained partners and best friends for over 58 years, until Forest’s death in 2004.
She was an active member of Eastern Star for several yearsand a partner in an income tax service for many years in Paden. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Zionsville, Indiana, and attended the First Baptist Church of Paden during her life there. She loved God and made certain that love was not only taught, but shown on a daily basis at home with her family.
Mildred was preceded in death by her mother and father, her husband, Forest, and her daughter-in-law, Debra.
She is survived by her brother, Bill Burcham and wife, Babe, of Springfield, Illinois; daughter, Diana Lynn Igleheart of Oklahoma City; son, Michael Igleheart and wife, Shirin Asghari, of Oklahoma City; grandsons, Jason Igleheart and wife, Chrissy, of Tonganoxie, Kansas; Ryan Igleheart and wife, Dana, of Adelaide, Australia; and five great grandchildren, Dylan, Taylor, Preston, Baylie and Alexis. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.
Mildred was a very special wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She touched many with her sweetness and kindness. She will be greatly missed, but will always be in our hearts.
A celebration of Mildred’s life will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Paden with Bro. Ledtkey McIntosh and Bro. Terry Pittman officiating.
Interment will follow at Paden Cemetery.
