JOHNNY MICHAEL HYDE SR.
1954 - 2015


Johnny Michael Hyde Sr. was born in Okemah, Oklahoma on April 10, 1954 and departed this life on Friday, October 16, 2015 at the age of 61 years.
Johnny was the son of John and Ruth Neal Burgan Hyde.
He resided in Stroud, Oklahoma for most of his life.
He married Judy Mashburn in Wichita Falls, Texas on February 12, 1971.
He worked in the oilfield most of his life.
He was preceded in death by his father John Ralph Hyde, one sister, Paula Diana Hyde and one son, Chris Hyde.
Survivors include, his mother, Ruth N. Hyde, his wife of 44 years, Judy Hyde of Stroud, one son and daughter-in-law, Johnny Michael Hyde Jr. and Leslee of Stroud, Oklahoma, one daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Josh Knoch of Stroud, Oklahoma, one brother, Ronnie Hyde of Stroud, Oklahoma, three sisters, Kathy Harris of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, Deb Kilgore of Limma, Oklahoma and Judy K. Hyde of Stroud, Oklahoma, fifteen grandchildren, Gregory Hyde, C. J. Hyde, Kayla Hyde, Kaitlyn Hyde, Christopher Hyde, Haley and Dakota Freeman, Jordan Knoch, Shawn Knoch, Jade Russ, Alston Russ, Terra Mitchell, Trayson Freeman, William Eastwood and Lilly Vansickle.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Hyde Family Cemetery.
Rev. Greg Jones will officiate.
Service is under Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
