ROBERT OWEN HURTT
1945 - 2015


Robert Owen Hurtt was born October 21, 1945 in Chandler to Elmer Orestes Hurtt and Pearl Foster.
He passed away March 17, 2015 in Mustang at the age of 69.
Robert was a selfless man whose goal in life was to love his wife and children.
He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.
He had many friends who enjoyed his wonderful sense of humor.
Robert enjoyed following OU Football and enjoyed traveling to the Pacific NW and Texas to visit his sons.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Pearl; brothers, Philip Hurtt and Paul Hurtt and sister, Marjorie Pitts.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Billie Hurtt of the home; sons, Brian Hurtt and his wife Leesa Hurtt of San Angelo, Texas; Jason Hurtt of Sammamish, Washington; one grandson, Colton Hurtt; siblings, Virginia Sherman of Oklahoma City, Lee Hodges of Goodyear, Arizona, Darlene Lewis of Tuttle; brother-in-law, Marvin Hensley; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss him dearly.
The family will be present from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening during the visitation.
A graveside funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Rossville Cemetery south of Wellston.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
