FLOYD B. HUBBARD
1952 - 2014


Floyd B. Hubbard, a longtime resident of Cushing passed away on October 30, 2014 at the Rainbow nursing home in Bristow, Oklahoma.
He was born March 23, 1952 in Colorado to the late Charles and Almonia {Floyd} Hubbard.
Floyd grew up in Cushing, Oklahoma. He was a self- employed construction worker doing many jobs like vinyl siding. He also collected scrap metal to help along the way. Floyd enjoyed many things in life such as fishing, watching westerns, and making a wish list for trucks he would like to have. Most of all, he loved spending time visiting with friends, and the greatest joy was being around his children and grandchildren whom he loved unconditionally.
He is survived by one son, Curtis Hubbard of Cushing. He is also survived by three daughters, Angie Hess and husband Kyle of Tulsa; Kasey Prince of Cushing; and Ashley Hubbard and husband Andy Loya of Cushing. He has four brothers and six sisters: Charles Hubbard of Cushing; Roy Hubbard of Georgia; Dean Hubbard of Texas; Arlie Jean McCormick of Texas; Pam Zeno of California; Penny Houston and husband Richard of Cushing; Lois Grigg of Pawhuska; Susie Cervants of Texas; Diana Fouler of Texas; and Greta {Hubbard} Zepeda of Amarillo, Texas. Floyd’s seven grandchildren are Jake Hess, Jozelyn Williams, Caleb Williams, Kaylee Loya, Michayla Loya, Benjamin Hubbard and Selena Prince.
Floyd is preceded in death by his parents; one son, David Prince; one sister, Ellie May Hubbard; and one brother, Chulsie Hubbard.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at the Palmer Marler Funeral Home Chapel, Cushing, Oklahoma.
Interment will follow at Flynn Cemetery, Cushing.
Arrangements are entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in the memory of Floyd by contacting Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Cushing.
