CHESTER RAY HUBBARD
1935 - 2004


Lifelong Chandler resident Chester Ray Hubbard departed this life in Chandler on Monday, November 5, at the age of 71.
Chester was born December 1, 1935 in Chandler to Walter Hildreth and Ina Mae Rikard Hubbard.
He graduated from Chandler High School in 1955.
On January 7, 1972, he married Bette Hughes Claybaker in Chandler.
Chester worked as a Loan Officer at Union National Bank in Chandler for many years. He currently owned and operated Ted's Auto Sales in Chandler. He served as Chandler Alumni President in 1972. Chester attended the First United Methodist Church in Chandler.
His parents and one grandson preceded Chester in death.
Survivors include his wife, Bette Hubbard of the home; four sons, Chester Ray Hubbard Jr.; Reginald Don Hubbard of Shawnee; Greig Allen Hubbard of Shawnee; and Ben Claybaker of Marlin, Texas; two daughters, Allison Claybaker Williams of The Woodlands, Texas; and Susan Shawn Hubbard York of Shawnee; one sister, Doris McDaniels of Sapulpa; ten grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the First United Methodist Church in Chandler with the Rev. Sungsu Hwang officiating.
Arrangements under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home of Chandler.
