LOUELLEN I. HILL
1923 - 2013


Louellen I. Rogers Hill 90 year-old resident of rural Wellston, Oklahoma, passed away May 1, 2013 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Born February 17, 1923 in Skiatook, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of John Lewis Rogers and Mae Bell Roper Rogers.
Louellen was a former owner-operator of several restaurants and bars.
She was a great cook and loved to garden especially vegetables.
Louellen was an extremely generous person who put her family first and who loved to dance 2 step, etc.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Melvin; one son, William H. Davis; one daughter, Beverly Inez Waldrip; one grandson, Bert Gary Carlock and all of her siblings.
Survivors include one son, Louis Clark Davis of Nicoma Park, Oklahoma; two daughters, Caroline {William} Rodgers of Harrah, Oklahoma; Sandra Hoover of Wellston, Oklahoma; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 6, 2013 at Rossville Cemetery near Wellston, Oklahoma with burial following in Rossville Cemetery.
