LILA FLORENE HENDRICKSON
1918 - 2008


Lila Florene Rodgers Hendrickson was born September 26, 1918 near Ripley, Oklahoma to Earl and Evelyn Dillman Rodgers.
She was baptized into the Followers of Jesus Christ and His Holy Apostles Church in December of 1936.
Lila passed from this life on Saturday, April 19, 2008 at her home near Cushing at the age of 89 years.
She was married to Ernest Hendrickson, a postal clerk, on June 21, 1945. To this union five children were born, Bill, Frank, Gloria, Ginny and Mary.
Survivors include one son, Bill Hendrickson and his wife, Donna of Piedmont, Oklahoma; three daughters, Gloria Stanton and her husband, Ray of Oregon, Wisconsin; Ginny Hendrickson of Cushing; and Mary Helmig and her husband, Jerry of Lake Havasu City, Arizona; one sister, Velma Parnum and her husband, Ed of Lubbock, Texas; fourteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Lila was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Evelyn, husband, Ernest, one son, Frank, two brothers, and three sisters.
Graveside services have been entrusted to the Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, Oklahoma and will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 23, 2008 in the Flynn Cemetery with Gale Ladd officiating.
