THELMA I. HEMPHILL
1927 - 2003


Thelma I. Baker Hemphill, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away at the age of 98.
She was born in Dalton, Arkansas to John and Martha Gregory Baker.
Thelma worked many years in the nursing field.
She attended Rock Creek Baptist Church near Stilwell, Oklahoma.
She is survived by one daughter, Dora Lee Ervin and husband, Earl H. of Mansfield, Texas; a son-in-law, John Tidwell; five grandchildren: Connie Givens and husband, Glenn Clark; Sharon Ann Hughes and husband, James; Linda Simmons and husband, Wayne; Brenda Muse and husband, Robert; and Terry Jane Derr; also many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Rexie Lou Tidwell; grandson, Richard Ervin; two brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be Thursday, March 1, 2007 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Funeral Home Chapel with interment at Carney Cemetery, Carney, Oklahoma.
