NORMAN HASEL
1936 - 2016


Norman Hasel was born on May 8, 1936, in South Mound, Kansas, and departed this life on Friday, September 23, 2016, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, at the age of 80.
Norman, the son of Walter and Chelsea Swope Hasel, was a resident of Prague.
He married Wanda Callan on November 22, 1956 in Oklahoma City.
Norman loved camping and trail riding, he particularly enjoyed going to Cedar Lake and riding the trails on his mules, Ruth and Cricket.
Norman's parents, six brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda, of the home, son, Harold Hasel of Kinta, Oklahoma, daughter, Belinda Chambers of Guthrie, Oklahoma, granddaughter, Amanda Chambers of Guthrie, Oklahoma and many other family and friends.
The Hasel family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Prague.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at The Pavillion at the Prague Lake in Prague with Joe Ann Pritchett officiating.
Interment will follow at Guild Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home.
