ELIZABETH DIANE HULET - HARZMAN
1972 - 2012


Elizabeth Diane Hulet-Harzman passed away on Sunday, August 26, 2012, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 40 years, six months and eleven days.
Liz was born February 15, 1972, in Prague, Oklahoma.
She was the youngest daughter of Jack Wayne and Bobbie Jean Powell Hulet.
As a young girl, Liz moved with her family from Meeker, Oklahoma to Hallett, Oklahoma in 1976. In 1978, they moved to Cleveland, Oklahoma where she graduated from high school with the class of 1990. During her time in high school Liz was an active part of the Cleveland Tigers basketball team.
Following high school, Liz was united in marriage to Don Michael Harzman on October 29, 1993.
During that same time, Liz returned to school at Drumright Vo-Tech and later in 1994, graduated as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
She immediately gained employment at the Cleveland Area Hospital, where she worked for over seventeen years. Being a nurse gave Liz the ability to do what she loved most, help people in need.
Some of Liz’s favorite things to do were to make jewelry and cross-stitch. She has made some for nearly every family member, as well as many of her friends. Liz also enjoyed going snow skiing which was one of her most favorite things to do. Christmas time was a favorite time of year for her. Liz would spend countless hours decorating the Christmas tree and the house to make it the perfect setting. Most of all in life Liz was a wonderful wife, mom, daughter and sister.
Survivors are her husband Don of the home; three children Cheyenne, Tristan and Gabriel, all of the home; mother Bobbie Hulet of Cleveland; four sisters, Judy Pridgen of Cleveland; Jackie Dickey and her husband Bryan of Cleveland; Brenda J. Bergin of Cleveland; Mary E. May and her husband Jesse of Hominy; mother-in-law Sherry Harzman of Alva; brothers-in-law, Alan Harzman of Alva; Clint Harzman and his wife Debbie of Alva; Lance Harzman and his wife Melissa of Alva; Randall Bergin of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee; sister-in-law Gina Harzman of Blackhawk, Colorado; and a host of other relatives and friends that will mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Hulet, son, Nicholas Ira Harzman and a brother-in-law, Butch Pridgen.
Funeral services were held 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 31, 2012 at the Western Heights Baptist Church with Rev. David Head officiating.
Burial followed in the Osage Cemetery under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home.
