FRANK CARTER HARRISON JR.
1933 - 1998


Former Stroud resident Frank Carter Harrison Jr. died Sunday in El Reno at the age of 65.
He was born in Pawnee on January 3, 1933, to Frank Carter and Sevinah Robideaux Harrison.
He served in the Korean conflict and attended the Baptist church.
He married Ossie Swallow in Colorado and lived in Stroud before moving to El Reno.
He was preceded in death by his parents and five brothers, Robert, Ben, James, Ira and Winston.
Survivors include his wife, Ossie of El Reno; stepsons, Johnathan Burgess of Okarche; Wesley Dryer of El Reno; and James Dryer Jr. of Geary; stepdaughters, Clara Dryer and Peggy Dryer, both of El Reno; Mary Dryer, Vicky Dryer and Donna Bressler, all of Denver, Colorado; sister, Kathleen Meadows of Davenport; twenty one grandchildren, including Ernestine and Jay Dryer, who were raised in his home; six great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. today at Sac and Fox Cemetery, Stroud under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home of Stroud. The Rev. Jay Swallow will officiate.
