DAVID LEE HARRIS SR.
1939 - 2014

David Harris of Riverton, Wyoming, passed away peacefully at Casper Medical Center on July 16. He was 75 years old.
Graveside services were held in Chandler, Oklahoma, on July 22, 2014, at New Zion Cemetery.
David was born in Davenport, Oklahoma on July 9, 1939 to Ethel and Shorty Harris. The family moved to Bethany, Oklahoma, where he was a 12 year student in Bethany Schools and graduated in 1957.
He received a music education degree from Central State College and taught band. David then worked in the oil patch as a mud logger. This job gave him the opportunity to travel to Singapore and throughout Texas, Oklahoma and Wyoming. David especially enjoyed the Rocky Mountains and spent much time with his map collection and travel books to plan camping trips and exploring new sites.
David began each day with Bible reading and prayer before writing letters of encouragement and exhortation to friends, family, and readers of his newsletter, NAAB. The New Age Adversary Bulletin was written to proclaim the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ and what we need to know about the New Age New World Order.
David is survived by Janet his wife of 38 years and sons, David Jr. and John, and daughter, Sheri. He also has grandchildren, John David, Chelsea, Zachary, Bethany and Ezekiel and great-grandson, Asher.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Norma Jean Harrison, brother, Billy Joe Harris and daughter, Valerie Harris.
