MARILYN KAY HAMON
1953 - 2016


Marilyn Kay Miller Hamon was born January 9, 1953 in Chandler, Oklahoma to Virgil and Mary Ina Palmer Miller. She passed away May 28, 2016 at her home in Chandler at 63 years of age.
She married George Luther Hamon, Jr. on June 23, 1972 at the Friends Church in Chandler, Oklahoma.
Kay was a longtime resident of Chandler. She graduated from Chandler High School in 1971.
She was a homemaker, licensed day care provider, worked in the sewing factory and retired from TDK after 18 years of service.
Kay enjoyed reading, puzzles, and spending time with her grandkids.
Preceding Kay in death are her parents; husband, George Luther Hamon, Jr. and brothers, James Miller and William Miller.
Survivors include brothers, George Miller, Delmer Miller, Doyle Miller, Charles Miller and Wayne Miller along with a sister, Mary Austin. Kay leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters, Tamie Perez, Carrie and her husband Kenny Lynch, son, Joshua Hamon; grandchildren Brandon, Tristan, Kylie, Abby, Luke and Jessika; along with other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2016 in the Lehman Funeral Home Chapel with interment following at the Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
