LEO HAGAR
1917 - 2000


Leo "Sandy" Hagar died Thursday in Oklahoma City. He was 82.
He was born November 11, 1917, in Carney. He was the son of Jap and Evie Hudson Hagar.
He lived all of his life in Carney except for his years of working with the railroad.
He married Geneva Marie Balch January 5, 1939, in Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife in March of 1999; four brothers and six sisters.
Survivors include two sons, David Hagar of Tulsa and Tony Hagar of Carney; one brother, Clyde Hagar of Enid and several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday at First Assembly of God Church in Carney with the Rev. Lorn Starling and the Rev. Jerry Ingram officiating.
Burial will be at Carney Cemetery, Carney.
Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Chandler, is in charge of arrangements.
