WILLIAM E. GUY
1930 - 2001
William E. Guy, 71, died Wednesday at his home in Meeker.
Guy was born April 3, 1930, in Nicholasville, Kentucky to Homer and Lillian Dobbs Guy.
He was a carpenter and member of the Downtown Pentecostal Holiness Church, Shawnee.
On February 20, 1951, he married Phyllis Fouse in Evansville, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Guy of the home; son, Kevin Guy of Meeker; two daughters and a son-in-law, Kathy and Robert Parke of Meeker and Karen Guy of Taft; three half brothers, Donald Guy, Tom Guy and Gary Guy, all of Dayton, Ohio; two half sisters, Linda Hays of Hebron, Kentucky and Joyce Guy of Dayton; and two grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. today at New Hope Cemetery, Meeker, with the Rev. Ron Baldridge officiating.
Viewing will continued until noon today at the Parks Brothers Chapel in Meeker.
Parks Brothers Funeral Service, Prague, is in charge of arrangements.
