IOLA VIRGINIA GULLEY
1923 - 2010


Iola Virginia Nance Gulley was born May 11, 1923, in Stigler and departed this life Thursday, December 30, 2010, in Edmond at the age of 87.
Iola, the daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth Freeman Nance, was a resident of Paden.
She married Cleo Gulley January 23, 1945, in Spiro. He preceded her in death in July of 2004.
Iola and Cleo lived in California for 30 years and returned to Oklahoma in 1979.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed her grandchildren, gardening and quilting.
Her parents; one daughter, Marilyn Gulley; two brothers and three sisters also preceded her in death.
Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Jessye and Linda Gulley, of Santa Rosa, California; daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Donald Sharp, of Paden; grandchildren, Tim and Melissa Gulley, of Santa Rosa, California, Mike and Cindy Gulley, of Santa Rosa, California, Stacey Sharp, of Manhattan, Kansas; great-grandchildren, Julianne Gulley, Brooklynn Fipps, Leah Gulley, Denver Fipps and Ashlye Gulley.
Viewing and visitation will be Sunday, January 2, 2010 from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be Monday, January 3, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Wayne Dempsey officiating.
Interment will follow at Prague Cemetery in Prague.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
