MICHAEL JON GREEN
1973 - 2014


Michael Jon Green was born May 16, 1973, in Oklahoma City to Ted Lewis Green and Karla Kay Brown.
He passed away October 3, 2014, in Wellston at the age of 41.
Mike grew up in Wellston and graduated from Wellston High School in 1991.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, all things outdoors and working with his hands.
He was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Wellston.
Mike played football and baseball and followed OU and Dallas Cowboys football. He loved his children dearly and enjoyed taking them hunting and fishing.
Mike was preceded in death by his grandparents, Warren and Maxine Brown, Lewis and Lucille Green.
Survivors include his wife of 17 years, Lou Ann Wade of the home; children, Darren Sikes and his wife Alexandria; Devin Michael Green, Destiny Hope Green; parents, Ted and Karla Green of Wellston; brother, Jason Paul Green and his wife Elizabeth of Wentzville, Missouri; nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
The family will be present for a visitation from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Monday October 6, 2014.
A funeral will be held Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Trinity Baptist Church in Wellston with interment following at the Wellston Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
