LAURA EDITH GOOD
1913 - 2008


Laura Edith Soderstrom Good departed this life at the age of 95 years.
Laura, the daughter of Oscar Eugene and Effie Aletha Taylor Soderstrom, was a long-time resident of Chandler. She was a graduate of Central State Teacher's College in Edmond.
She married Charles Good Jr. on May 27, 1937, in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
She worked as a school teacher for many years.
Laura was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Lincoln County and Oklahoma Teachers Retirement Group, Daughters of the American Revolution, Colonial Dames Chapter, Delta Kappa Gamma Teachers Sorority, Business and Professional Women's Organization, Lincoln County Historical Society and the First Christian Church in Chandler.
Her parents, husband, and son, Dr. Charles Oscar Good, preceded Laura in death.
Survivors include her daughter, Laura Ann Knopfel of Chandler; granddaughter, Darla Ann Knopfel of Covington, Oklahoma and grandson, Jonathon Carl Knopfel of Stillwater.
Services were at 10:00 a.m. Thursday September 11, 2008 at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Chandler, with the Rev. Connie Schlarh officiating.
Burial followed at Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler.
Services were under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
